【作者简介】

       Britt Nicole出生于美国Nashville的一个基督徒家庭，自小就在教堂唱诗班演唱；这对她的心灵和她的歌曲曲风产生影响，形成她独有的风格。这位从16岁开始音乐创作的歌手也参与了本张专辑所有歌曲的创作。虽然受到大多青少年的喜爱，但她的歌并不全是为了teenager而作。她在音乐中分享生活感悟。Britt自己说：我在我的专辑里讲述我的生活经历，我的困惑、我的软弱、曾受的伤痛；一切都是真实的。

Waddell曾拒绝Belmont大学所提供的足够支付她大学音乐学习生涯的奖学金。因为她觉得上帝好像引导着她全心全意专注于音乐，于是她放弃了读大学的机会。2004年她把自己的第一份经济约签给了Vertical Entertainment，后来签约了Word Records Sparrow Records（2006年）。她的第一张专辑Say It与2007年5月22日发行。同时她还和Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, Steven Curtis Chapman等人一起担任了The Winter Jam Tour的开场表演嘉宾。
