「所以你在祭坛前献礼物，若想起你的弟兄向你怀怨，就要把礼物留在坛前，先去与你的弟兄和好，然后来献礼物。」（太5:23-24）

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

「因为你们若赦免人的过犯，你们的天父也必赦免你们；你们若不赦免人的过犯，你们的父也必不赦免你们的过犯。」（太6:14-15）

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

「于是主人把他叫来，对他说，你这恶仆，因你央求我，我就把你一切所欠的都免了；你岂不应当怜悯和你同作奴仆的，像我怜悯你吗？」（太18:32-33）

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

「你们要小心，若是你的弟兄犯了罪，就责备他；他若悔改，就赦免他。若是他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转，对你说，我悔改了，你总要赦免他。」（路17:3-4）

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

「他们到了一个地方，名叫髑髅地，就在那里将耶稣钉了十字架，也钉了那两个犯人，一个在右边，一个在左边。当下耶稣说，父阿，赦免他们，因为他们所作的，他们不晓得。......」（路23:33-34）

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
